Alyssa Golz

Alyssa Golz is an Industrial Engineering major at the University of Missouri - Columbia, graduating in May of 2016. Originally from Topeka, KS, Alyssa crossed the state line to attend Mizzou because upon her first visit to campus she immediately fell in love with the energy and passion she saw on the faces of every student she met. 
 
Alyssa chose to pursue Industrial Engineering because she always enjoyed math in school growing up. At Mizzou, she says that Industrial Engineering coursework has been the perfect mix of math, science, problem solving and real-world business  application.

Her passion for math has certainly paid off! In addition to receiving the 2015 Live Like Josh Seidel Engineering Scholarship, Alyssa has also received recognitions from the School of Engineering, including being named an Engineer Ambassador and a member of the Alpha Phi Mu Industrial Engineering Honor Society.

I graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (2016) and Masters of Business Administration (2017). I currently reside in St. Louis and work as a Systems Engineer at Boeing.
