Faith Danaher

2019 Live Like Josh Seidel Engineering Scholarship Recipient

Faith Danaher is from Overland Park, KS and is majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Spanish at the University of Missouri. She is expected to graduate in May of 2023. Mizzou was not originally on Faith’s radar during her college search. In fact, she was planning on attending Kansas State University. However, after visiting the Mizzou campus, she knew it was the right school for her. She fell in love with the campus, the academics, and the culture of the school. After her campus visit, Mizzou was the easy choice for Faith. When it came to deciding a major, she knew she had always been intrigued by science and excelled in Math. Her dad was also a Civil Engineer, so she had been around engineering her whole life and knew she wanted to pursue engineering further. When she heard of Biomedical Engineering she was certain it was what she wanted to do because she would get to continue in both Math and Science classes. While studying at Mizzou, Faith has also enjoyed being a part of Mizzou Engineering Student Council, which has furthered her love for the College of Engineering.

When she isn’t busy studying or hanging out at Lafferre, Faith likes to spend time with her friends, go to Mizzou’s sporting events, participate in events for her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, and watch the Kansas City Chiefs play, of course. After she graduates, she hopes to travel to Central and South America and work on her Spanish.
