Olivia Vitale

Olivia Vitale is a Mechanical Engineering major and an Aerospace Engineering minor at Mizzou, graduating in May of 2022. Two of her older siblings graduated from Mizzou, and she grew up hearing tales of the rich traditions, quality academics, and unmatched culture that drives the university. She is now proud to be attending the illustrious and beloved university that helped raise part of her family.
 
Olivia’s passion for math and science emerged in elementary school. Drawn to the world of inventors and innovators, she knew she wanted to channel her imagination and energy into the field of engineering. While studying at Mizzou, Olivia has been active in the Missouri Space Program, a competitive rocketry organization that has only deepened her zeal for engineering.
 
Aside from her studies and rocket-building, Olivia loves spending time with her friends, playing intramural soccer, volunteering with Tau Beta Pi, and assisting in astronomy research. When she graduates, Olivia hopes to continue building rockets and achieve her interplanetary dream of traveling to Mars.
