Nick Pirotte
2015 Spirit of Sigma Chi Scholarship Recipient
Nick Pirotte - our second Spirit of Sigma Chi Scholarship recipient - will graduate from Missouri in 2018, majoring in Agribusiness Management. Nick is an active member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Nick is also involved with the Jerry LItton Leadership Program - where deserving agribusiness students are selected to become part of a year-long leadership development experience that will prepare them to lead in their future career fields. In true Josh Seidel spirit, Nick traveled to Houston for Spring Break to volunteer at an AIDS hospital and domestic violence shelter as part of Mizzou's Alternative Breaks Program.
Its interesting to note that Nick is the roommate of the 2014 Josh Seidel Memorial Foundation Spirit of Sigma Chi recipient, Andrew Swailes. Proof that good things come in pairs!
As of Fall 2018:
I graduated from Mizzou with a B.S. in Agribusiness Management in the fall of 2016 and again with a M.S. in Agricultural and Applied Economics in the fall of 2017. Now I am working for Scoular as a grain merchandiser in Charleston, SC where I buy and sell agricultural commodities, and manage the logistical and financial risks that come along with that.
